Boo von Behr is a stunning 5 month old German Shepherd puppy.

Hi, at 5 months old, I’ve been called Boo, Beau, Bowie, but mostly referred to as smart, spunky, funny and chill - all at the same time. I’m happiest when I am around people and given a good bone or toy to chill with. Call me a people pleaser. When I’m able to climb on your lap and give kisses I’m thrilled, but I know that I’ll grow too large for the lap dog part quickly while also growing into these ears that have just stood straight recently. I’m told that they make me look quite handsome. I’m known to be good with other dogs big and small and even a cat when introduced. I love sitting with a cool breeze and sun in my face by the door and running into my kennel to rest or chew on an antler, rope, or squeaky toy. The kennel is my go toplace to relax and sleep at night. I have occasionally absconded with something plastic to gnaw on and hide it in my kennel for entertainment value. Everyone loves a little hide and seek, right? And I will do most anything for a treat. I can get very excited about food. I know my commands of sit, touch and down, but hey, why would I do what my foster mommy wants since, you guessed it, I get a yummy treat. Here’s what I’m hoping for: Do you love to give a good gentle massage and get kisses in return, then I’m your guy? I won’t bother you when you work, that is unless you forget to let me out to potty. I’m really open to resting by your feet. I’m still working on my last bit of potty training. But from what I can tell, I’m doing well. As a people pleaser, I need someone who’s kind and patient - a sense of humor would be great! I’m still learning how to walk on my leash, and while I don’t pull I could get caught in your leg - again sense of humor and loving discipline are big! I’ve also developed my big boy bark recently, which like my ears, and large paws have grown before my long, slim puppy physique.
